Soundwave Launch

Stream's Soundwave group launched a CD and booklet of their audio and photographic work on 17 August at Bavardez Hair on Trafalgar Road, East Greenwich.

Over the last few months, artists Tim Sutton and Tony McTurk have been working with a group of local people to create a 'soundwave' of recorded interviews, impressions and conversations about the experience of being an older person in East Greenwich today. The group recorded a series of walks along Trafalgar Road and the Thames Path, involving other members of the community, and carried out interviews in a number of settings including Bavardez and Christchurch School, where they spoke to Year 6 pupils
